What Is An Autoresponder?

An AutoResponder is a computer program that collects emails from people who are
interested in whatever product or service you are promoting and it sends out emails to
these people automatically. These emails are preset by you with your content, when and
who it is go out.
Basically the person who is promoting something to sell online uses an AutoResponder
to create an email listing. They can carry on promoting something to these people via
email in the hope that these people will buy something from them. The people who put
in their email address are called leads. This Email Marketing technique is very effective
to keep the prospect up to date with what you are offering. Many people don’t buy when
they first see an opportunity. And therefore it is a great idea to keep the opportunity in
people’s minds in case a later date is a better time for them to purchase for whatever reason.
An AutoResponder is connected to a something like a capture page which has words on it
and a box to put your email address in.  You could use it on a blog. Usually there is a free
offer to entice the interested person to put their email in eg a free video training series,
an e-book, a PDF on 5 ways to…’ you put whatever it is in her” .. or similar.
An AutoResponder saves you a huge amount of time especially if there are many people
interested in your product and service. You could of course not use an Autoresponder and
manually email any interested persons to your product or service. But this is very time consuming.
Where do I find an Autoresponder?
There are a number of AutoResponders available for use, each with varying features and
pricing options.
Here are some of them:

  1. GetResponse
  2. AWeber
  3. iContact
  4. MailChimp
  5. Constant Contact
  6. InfusionSoft
  7. iShoppingCart
  8. Autoresponse Plus ( ARP Reach )
  9. Office AutoPilot
  10. Campaign Monitor

You can search for these online to find out the best one suited for your needs

eg MailChimp has a free option and is great for beginners getting used to
autoresponders, whereas InfusionSoft is for the serious internet marketer
and isn’t cheap. The others fall inbetween.
I use Get Response. It is a very popular autoresponder.
You get to trial it for a month and then pay as little as $15 / month after that if
you wish to continue.
Take a look Here for more details.
It may be just what you want to help with your business.

Good Luck in finding your best autoresponder fit to your needs.
