Base Oils

Sweet Almond Oil:
This is a wonderful moisturising oil suitable for all skin types. It is suitable for use in soaps providing a getle soap which has a good, mild lather. It can be used as one of the main ingredients in the soap but when mixed with olive oil, coconut oil or palm oil the soap becomes a very luxurious bar.

Yellow Palm Oil:
This oil is high in fatty acis and a rich source of beta-carotene and so produces a bright yellow colour soap when used in soaps. The soap becomes quite hard and it does not dissolve easily in water.

You can get white palm oil which works the same as yellow plam oil but without the colour.
