Tips on Writing Good Blogs

Blogging is one of the most popular things to do on the internet.
People can write about anything, including:
~ original short fiction or nonfiction stories
~ their feelings and emotions
~ advertising their own or other peoples products

Here are some tips on writing good blogs

1. You need to write:
an Eye Catching TITLE

an Attention Seeking INTRODUCTION
It is crucial that the first sentence grabs the
readers attention and the following one or two
sentences encourage further reading.

an Informative BODY which
~ relates to the title
~ stays on the subject
~ is consistant and entertaining
~ easy to read and understand

a Captivating CONCLUSION which recaps what has been said

Please note that if you are selling a product, either yours or someone elses, then you write such that it will make the potential customer think they need to buy the product- not because you told them to.

You could try telling a story about the product as if you are the customer. This can be done by writing:
~ a little about the product
~ what it did for you and the benefits you got
~ that you buy this product because you are crazy about it
When you believe in the product , then the reader believes in the product and they will be more likely to buy from you and possibly advertise for free.

2. After you have finished writing, you proof read the blog for spelling mistakes, grammatical errors. Imagine you are the reader. You can get friends to read it for an unbiased judgement.

3. Edit as required.

4. Submit to a blogging website.

So Keep Writing

Keep Submitting

Alison Holst's Crazy Cake and More

I stumbled upon this recipe when I wanted to make someting sweet for a reason and did not have any eggs, butter or milk. It is very easy, you don't even need an eggbeater. It has a great texture and interesting flavour. Why not give this chocolate cake a try.

Ingredients

* 1½ cups standard (plain) flour
* 2 Tbsp cocoa
* 1 tsp each cinnamon and powdered ginger
* 1 tsp baking soda
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 cup sugar
* ½ cup oil
* ¾ cup water
* 2 Tbsp vinegar
* 1 tsp vanilla essence

Method

Heat oven to 190°C (180°C fanbake), with the rack just below the middle. Line the bottom and two opposite sides of a 20cm square pan with baking paper. Butter and flour the uncovered sides of the pan, or coat with non-stick spray.

Sift the first six ingredients through a sieve over a fairly large bowl. Stir in the sugar with a fork, leaving a depression in the centre. Measure the oil and add it to the dry ingredients, without stirring. Add the vinegar and vanilla to the measured water, then tip them into the flour-oil mixture. Stir with the fork until the mixture is smooth and no dry lumps remain.

Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 30 - 40 minutes, until the centre of the cake springs back when pressed, and a toothpick or skewer comes out clean. Leave cake in the pan for five minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and leave to cool. Dust with sieved icing sugar. Serve cut in squares for dessert. Top with whipped cream and fresh or partly thawed raspberries; sliced drained canned peaches; or sliced bananas and raspberry jam.

Bon Appetite!

Take a look Here for a healthy starter.
You could combine the healthy starter and the crazy cake for a yummy lunch.
